Chris Brown is taking a real action after he’s accused of rape by a woman in Paris. After denying the allegations on Instagram, he’s hitting back at the accuser with defamation lawsuit which will be filed by his lawyer on Wednesday, January 23.
His lawyer in Paris, Raphael Chiche, says, “Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him. He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris.”
Chris was detained on Tuesday, January 22 in Paris on allegations of aggravated rape and drug violations. He was arrested with two other individuals, including one of Chris’ bodyguards, but has been released without bail. He won’t face any charges at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
The accuser, a 24-year-old model, claimed she met Chris and his friends at the Le Crystal nightclub on January 15 and followed Chris to his room at the Le Mandarin Oriental, where he allegedly raped her. The alleged victim, who goes by the pseudonym “Karima”, details the alleged incident to Closer magazine (via TMZ), describing the rape as “brutal and violent.” She claims that Chris’ friends and a bodyguard also “abused” her.
The “Look at Me Now” singer has denied the allegations, saying on Instagram, “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP!” along with a message which read, “This B!tch Lyin.” He added in the caption, “NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!”
His celebrity pals have shown their support for him, with T.I. writing in the comment section, “Stay solid and protect ya self King. Prayers UP.” The Game commented on the post, “Hold ya head baby bro #conspiracists.” Ray J added, “We know fam!! Keep your head up and get back to America asap.”
