With the decision to gradually return students to face to face classes, the Ministry of Education has been weighing a number of options to ease congestion on the country’s roads.
Education Minister, Santia Bradshaw says the ministry has already started discussions with the Transport Board in this regard.
Among the options being considered are staggering the times of the school day.
Changes could also be coming to before-care and aftercare programmes, which will now be specifically structured from within the Ministry of Education.
Minister Bradshaw says the Ministry may utilize participants of its Give Back initiative to oversee students in these before and aftercare programmes.
Minister Bradshaw says extracurricular activities will also be gradually brought back into play.
